Abseiling Rope

Descender

Safety Sets
These sets are vital for addressing incidents that may occur during abseiling operations. They include safety ropes and the necessary accessories to secure users who are unable to continue their descent.
Safety rope is used to secure a user involved in an incident and who cannot pursue their descent via abseiling. It is provided to the crew with the required accessories for use.

The knife set enables the hold handler to cut the abseiling rope if it becomes stuck on the ground and might endanger the safety of the aircraft. It is to be used in emergencies only.
Heavy Load Descender
Personnel in the hold operate the heavy load descender to control the lowering of loads that users cannot carry directly while abseiling due to their mass.
